+1 617 267 9595i-nexus is a performance management software company with offices in the UK and US and representation globally.
Founded in 2001, i-nexus rapidly became the market leader in Europe for Six Sigma performance management software to effectively support the deliverance of performance improvements and cost savings in quality programs. This expert experience is at the heart of its offerings today. Version 4 of i-nexus, made available for general release in April 2009, provides the first complete solution to strategy execution ensuring quality and cost saving programs deliver on their goals.
The original i-nexus prototype was developed by Marconi Corporation (acquired by Ericsson in 2006), a telecommunications company based in the UK, to manage its own performance improvement initiative. It was recognised that the solution presented extended well beyond one enterprise. This initiative was launched and managed by Paul Docherty, who became a co-founder and the CEO of i-nexus. The early days of i-solutions was driven by a need to fund the development of the i-nexus solution Version 1 and to achieve this the business generated revenues and critically expanded its knowledge of customer needs in the Global 1000 market. This enabled the company to identify what were common capabilities required and where specific areas would require powerful configuration capabilities. Enabling one product to deliver without customisation but with configuration.
The company now trades under the name i-nexus because this is the brand that the market recognises and no longer funds all development internally. Today we have three external investors, who have provided more than just the significant funds required to develop an enterprise deployable system, they are:
The investment in i-nexus have extended to strengthen our executive team through the appointment of Richard Cunningham as non-executive Chairman and Neil Sutcliffe as non executive director. Richard was Group Finance Director for Project Telecom Plc from its inception through to flotation on the London Stock Exchange in 2000 and subsequent $300m acquisition by Vodafone in 2003. Neil was COO for Marconi Corporation from 2002 through to its $2.1Bn acquisition by Ericsson in 2006 and oversaw the restructuring and disposal of $3Bn of assets following the telecoms market crash of 2001.
Today our agenda today spans all forms of templated project management from quick operational projects to major capital expenditure programs but at all times linking to the originating requirements and tracking performance through our integrated Performance management modules. We give our customers though the option to buy either in the program space, the performance space or across all elements. This ensures that if you're requirement is to implement a robust and cascading metrics control system linked back to a balanced scored card then that is all you buy.
Our focus remains to deliver solutions that provide consistent quality, consistent returns and enabling sustainable benefits to be delivered across our customers' deployments.
We operate out of our regional offices in Coventry (UK) and Boston (US) and continue to expand a thriving reseller network across the globe, the latest being an agreement to cover South America.
