Leadership team

Paul Docherty started his career in Marconi, where he held a wide range of senior management roles covering manufacturing, IT, sales, product development, project management, Operational Excellence and corporate strategy as well as having P&L responsibility for the growth of a regional telecoms equipment business. His deep understanding of the challenges of establishing robust business execution disciplines comes from his experience coaching senior management teams in over 100 global organisations and from leading the deployment of a substantial Operational Excellence program at Marconi. Paul was a co-founder of i-nexus in 2001, and has spearheaded its rapid expansion into the leading provider of on-demand Business Execution software. Paul holds a MEng in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the University of York and an MBA from the University of Warwick.

Rex is the Chief Operating Officer and a co-founder of i-nexus. He is a responsible for directing the product development, customer service, application delivery, corporate governance, financial, commercial and the HR strategy underpinning the company's exceptional 100%+ software sales growth per annum to date. He was instrumental in the recent venture capital fund raising by i-nexus and is an executive board member. Rex brings with him over 20 years operational, financial and commercial management experience gained across the engineering construction, professional services and technology sectors, working directly and indirectly for industry heavyweights such as Lendlease (Bovis), Foster Wheeler Inc., Pfizer, BP and Marconi Communications. He has held financial and commercial responsibility for a number of enterprises and projects with annual budgets ranging from £1m to £200m within Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia. Rex holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.

Steve has worldwide responsibility for the sales, marketing and implementation teams at i-nexus. With over 17 years experience of the software industry, Steve previously held senior sales management and global account management positions at PTC, Capgemini, Epicor Software and Digital Fuel Technology where he successfully built and developed new sales operations and directly managed large corporate accounts. One of the key objectives of Steve's team is to ensure customers maximize benefit from their investment in the i-nexus suite through high quality thought leadership and implementation support. Steve holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and is completing an MBA at Warwick Business School.

Jan Freyburgher is responsible for growing the business, through acquiring new customers and developing existing accounts within the Americas region, and for managing the resellers network throughout the USA, Australia and New Zealand. Jan has over 15 years of management experience delivering software solutions and services across a broad range of vertical sector, particularly the Healthcare, Financial services, consulting and Not-For-Profit. She is an accomplished facilitator with experience leading executive training workshops, planning and strategy sessions at highest corporate levels.

Gaston is the Director for Mainland Europe at i-nexus and is responsible for the wider German and French speaking regions in Europe. Together with his team at our Zurich office his objectives are to provide local support for existing customers and consulting partners as well as to further grow the business in this region via direct sales and partners. Gaston started his career in the Business Process Management area acting as head of sales, account and administration as well as information technology. He is currently completing a Global Executive MBA at GSBA Zurich.
