Cyta is a semi-government organisation, established with the aim of providing, maintaining and developing a comprehensive telecommunications service, both nationally and internationally. Cyta is considered to be the leading provider of integrated electronic communications services in Cyprus. Cyta is aiming at expanding into international markets, mainly those of Central and Eastern Europe. More specifically, its goal is to strengthen its role as a telecommunications hub in the South-Eastern Mediterranean and to offer international transit services on a global scale.
Cyta provides a broad range of services and facilities which aim to satisfy the ever-increasing needs of its customers for voice and data applications in both fixed and mobile telephony. Particular emphasis is placed on the provision of value added services, such as content/multimedia via the Internet which, by all accounts, will be the dominant business activity of the next decade.
Following the liberalization of telecommunications in Cyprus, Cyta faces the challenge of the convergence of telecommunications, information technology and multimedia, as well as that brought about by changes to the social, legal and political environment, especially since Cyprus became a full member of the European Union. Cyta has repositioned itself as a comprehensive/integrated electronic communications provider. The development of broadband and triple play services composes the spearhead of Cyta's strategy.
Cyta was the first organization in Cyprus to become a member of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and the largest organization in the broader state sector in Cyprus to attain ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certification.
Cyta purchased i-nexus in 2007 initially to manage their EFQM assessment cycle, the evidence, the reporting and the portfolio of activity to deliver improvement. Feedback of the system was so positive that Cyta took the step in 2009 to regard i-nexus Version 4 as the 'de facto' programme and project management tool for Cyta, and to use i-nexus to measure and report on the strategic and department objectives of the organisation.

As one of the world’s biggest mobile operators, T-Mobile International offers its customers the latest technologies and modern multimedia services.
Since it was formed in December 1999, T-Mobile International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, has established itself as one of the world’s leading mobile operators. The company operates in Europe and the United States and currently has around 120 million customers (12/2007) – a figure that is growing all the time. The Group is the sole or majority shareholder in Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Austria, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Poland. Deutsche Telekom also has a stake in telecommunications companies in Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Macedonia and Montenegro.
T-Mobile is a relatively young i-nexus deployment that began with an i-nexus pilot in April 2008 and has been deployed successfully using the i-nexus rapid deployment methodology. A suite of existing standard i-nexus reports have been customized to reflect the customer needs and these are sent out on a regular basis to all project stakeholders to increase deployment transparency and management buy in. Today, more than 150 users manage their Six Sigma projects in i-nexus and the decision has been taken to roll i-nexus out to all national organizations. The success to date has driven a decision to consider using i-nexus to support further project methodologies and other areas like Balanced Scorecard.
